House configurations: “Basic”, “Comfort”, “Premium”
With the advent of modular homes, people are increasingly choosing to create their own detached housing. Such construction offers numerous advantages — the building is assembled quickly, is environmentally friendly, and has an attractive price. However, to ensure that your home meets all your expectations, it is essential to carefully consider the equipment and finishing options of modular houses. Your comfort and coziness will depend on this choice. Let’s take a look at the options offered by Unitbud.
Types of equipment for modular homes
First of all, it should be noted that every modular house is made from high-quality, environmentally friendly materials. There is no concept of “good” or “bad” — the client simply chooses between standard or more advanced configurations.
BASIC Configuration
This option provides the client with a home featuring a finished faсade (raised beam “Smereka” and standing-seam metal cladding). Such exterior finishing offers several advantages. The imitation timber is an eco-friendly and versatile material that ensures longlasting durability. The wall cladding easily withstands temperature changes, while additional antiseptic treatment increases resistance to moisture, fungi and mold. It also provides excellent thermal and sound insulation, ensuring a comfortable indoor environment.
The house comes with an entrance door and energy-efficient windows. Plumbing and electrical connections are pre-installed. Oriented Strand Board (OSB), known for its strength and moisture resistance, is used for interior wall, floor and ceiling finishing. Insulation is included in every modular home project, so you don’t need to worry about cold seasons.
The basic configuration gives you a solid and ready shell of the house, allowing you to complete the interior according to your preferences. However, this also means you cannot move in immediately. This option does not include interior doors, stretch ceilings, faucets and switches, or lighting.
“COMFORT” — a Fully Finished Home
In this configuration, both exterior and interior finishing are fully completed, including complete lighting (interior and exterior). Compared to the Basic version, this option uses imitation timber not only on the outside but also for internal wall finishing — replacing OSB boards. The house features a matte stretch ceiling. For flooring, the company offers Egger laminate and ceramic tiles. Interior doors, a standard electrical switchboard, a boiler, and a ventilation system are also installed.
Advantages of the “COMFORT” package:
- a fully finished home ready to be placed on your site;
- underfloor heating system;
- built-in switches, sockets and all necessary utilities;
- a reliable ventilation system.
The “Comfort” package is considered the best-value solution among our customers, offering an excellent balance between price and quality.
“PREMIUM” — for the Most Demanding Clients
Like the previous option, the Premium package provides a completely finished house ready for installation on-site. Exterior and interior finishing, electrical fittings and a heating system are fully completed. Interior doors and an ultra-matte stretch ceiling are installed.
Key features that distinguish the Premium package:
- walls finished with plasterboard, painted in the color of your choice;
- an upgraded, highly reliable electrical switchboard from leading manufacturers;
- energy-efficient laminated windows with thickened glass.
As you can see, the three configuration packages offered by Unitbud can meet the needs of any client — depending on their budget and personal requirements.

Cost of a House
When choosing their ideal home, customers often ask how the price of each individual project is formed. In addition to the equipment package, the cost of materials must also be taken into account. For example, you can choose more affordable options, such as imitation timber or standing-seam cladding, instead of HPL panels. A combination of several finishing solutions can also look stylish and aesthetically pleasing. Thus, the final cost of your modular home will depend on the finishing materials you select.
How to Choose the Right Package
Feeling overwhelmed by the variety of available packages and unable to make a final decision? Here is a short list of factors that can help you choose the most suitable option:
- whether you want a home that is fully ready for moving in or prefer to complete the interior decoration gradually on your own;
- the weather conditions in your region and the location of installation some materials provide a higher level of thermal insulation than others;
- determining your budget limits.
Regardless of which package the customer chooses, they will always receive a highquality project and a warm, comfortable home. And Unitbud specialists will be happy to help you select the best option for your needs.
